Description: This ballpoint pen abstract has a beautiful crosshatched texture. Colors include metallic gold, indigo blue in the background which graduates from light to dark, cool deep purple, emerald green, light aqua, red brown and golden brown. With it's flat background and shaded shapes the central figure seems to come of off the paper.
Techniques: This drawing was started by my younger son. At about two years old he was drawing on my sketch pad with  a light blue pen and a triangle. From the frame work that he drew I began to pull out and color the shapes he had created. I gave these shapes their three dimensional feel by carefully crosshatching and shading them. Ballpoint pens and gold metallic accents on white watercolor paper.
Further: A high resolution scan and dot per inch printing gives this limited edition print beautiful details and allows you to see each stroke of the ballpoint pen.
